Particularity: The little bulldog became popular worldwide after an example called “Snob” was taken to Vienna by Prince Coburg in 1888, thus introducing the breed at court. An other notable character of the Viennese 'beautiful set' was the owner of the hotel Erzherzog Karl, who also imported a Toy Bulldog.
